Quick Self-Assessment
Answer honestly. These questions are not a diagnosis — they are a starting point for reflection.
- Do you think about gambling constantly, even when you're not gambling?
- Have you tried to cut back or stop gambling without success?
- Have you gambled with money needed for rent, bills, groceries, or other essentials?
- Have you lied to people close to you to hide how much you gamble?
- Do you feel that gambling is your only way to solve financial problems?
Set Limits Before You Play
- Set a loss limit — decide the maximum you're willing to lose before you start, and stop when you hit it
- Never bet with essential money — rent, bills, groceries, and savings are off limits
- Set time limits — decide in advance how long you'll spend, then stop
- Take regular breaks — daily, weekly, or longer if needed
- Never chase losses — if you're losing, walk away; tomorrow is a new day
- Never bet impaired — alcohol and substances impair judgment and decision-making

Self-Exclusion
Every regulated sportsbook is required to offer self-exclusion. You can exclude yourself from one operator or all licensed operators at once through state gaming boards.
- DraftKings: Settings → Responsible Gaming → Self-Exclude
- FanDuel: Account → Responsible Gambling → Self-Exclusion
- BetMGM / Caesars / BetRivers: Contact support or visit your state gaming commission
- State Self-Exclusion Registries: Most regulated states maintain a unified self-exclusion list — search "[Your State] Gaming Commission Self-Exclusion"
Age Verification
Sports betting and DFS for cash prizes is restricted to adults (21+ in most US states, 18+ in some jurisdictions). LineAlgo does not knowingly provide services to minors. If you believe a minor is using the platform, contact us immediately.
